Tasting Location

Just a couple of miles north of Solvang lies a hidden gem, the Rusack Vineyard’s tasting room. Driving through the vineyard on your way to the tasting room, you will see mostly Syrah and Sangiovese vines making up the 17 acre vineyard.

The tasting room has a warm and friendly feel to it. This also might be the best picnic spot in the valley, as the views are majestic, especially in the summer when the green vines contrast so well with the light brown hillsides and the light blue sky. The tasting room has a really cozy wood patio and is built around some very established oak trees. This is what a California winery should feel like.

John and Helen Falcone are able to hand craft premium wines from the Rusack Vineyard, and they also source fruit from some of the best cool climate vineyard in the county. Their Anacapa club is currently on a waiting list.

Their flagship wine is also named Anacapa, a blend or Merlot, Petite Verdot, and Cab Franc. Many prefer their Chardonnay which is a blend from two very good Santa Maria Vineyards.
