This vineyard possesses red, iron rich, nutrient deprived soils. This results in Viognier with tiny berries, small clusters and very concentrated flavors. These grapes are hand harvested, sorted and whole-cluster pressed to preserve the fresh, floral and fruity quality of this amazing varietal. The juice is then fermented in all older French oak barrels while preventing malo-lactic fermentation and barrel aged for an additional ten months before being bottled.
