This is probably the wine most approachable wine right now as the pepper and meaty aromas jump out of the glass – the most “old world” wine in the Margerum Syrah stable – and, no, stable not a barn metaphor. It is a blend three barrels of clone 7 and five barrels of clone 877. Aged in a combination of new (3 year air dried) and used FF barrels. It was 15 days fermenting.
